Psychology at Halewood Academy

Course description

This course provides opportunities to develop critical skills of analysis, interpretation and evaluation. It enables students to explore how psychology has contributed to an understanding of individual, social and cultural diversity and an awareness of the ethical responsibilities of psychological research.

Units include:

* Cognitive Psychology, developmental psychology and Research Methods
* Biological Physiology, Social psychology and individual differences
* Topics in Psychology
* Psychopathology, Psychology in Action and Research Methods

Entry requirements

Grade B in GCSE English and Mathematics.

An interest in understanding how you develop psychologically.
