ICT A-Level at Freman College

Course description

In the first year, the students use individually chosen projects to develop business and ICT skills relevant in today’s competitive environment.

The projects will help to enhance their ICT skills in using business applications, such as wordprocessing, spreadsheets, databases, as well as developing a deeper understanding of business environments.

In the second year, the students will use skills learned in the first year to create and manage databases, at the core of every modern business system management.

This will enhance the student’s understanding on how data management systems are applied to organisations and processes used by everyone on a daily basis. An important part of the course will be developing further understanding of time-management through project planning and management.
