Customer Service Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2 at PETROC

Course description

The Customer Service Intermediate and Advanced Apprenticeships in England respond to the employer need for high levels of customer service skills within a wide range of organisations. Customer service skills are transferable across sectors and can be applied to many job roles. The apprenticeships are primarily aimed at individuals whose job role is dedicated to customer service as an occupation.

Course content

This apprenticeship develops skills that will serve well in virtually any industry - so it's a very good way to move forward and prepare for a future career. 

Qualification Structure
This qualification comprises of Six mandatory units and then from a choice of 33 optional units.
Learners must complete a minimum of 45 credits.

1.  Deliver customer service 
2.  Understand customers 
3.  Principles of customer service 
4.  Understand employer organisations 
5.  Manage personal performance and development
30.  Employer Rights and Responsibilities

Entry requirements

Some employers will ask for GCSEs in English and Maths at level C or above. Enthusiasm for your subject and a willingness to work hard are essential.

Assessment

The six mandatory untis are taught and assessed using mini assingments

The rest, as this is a combined diploma, will be assessed using a range of work based assessment methods and case studies. 

ICT will be taught and assessed by an externally moderated exam

If not exempt from FS Maths and English (reliant on GCSE Results) then there would be a need to be taught and assessed, again by externally moderated exam.

  • Level 3 Apprenticeship in Customer Service or Business Admin 
  • Full time employment
  • Full time employment with in house specialist training
