Financial Studies Level 3 at Park House School

Course description

This builds further on the knowledge acquired in Cefs (Certificate in Financial Studies) and provides the students with the knowledge and skills to meet their longer term needs, wants and aspirations. It encourages them to analyze and evaluate the different financial packages so that they can make informed decisions on e.g. mortgages, savings, pensions

Course content

There are three units:

• Financing the Future
• Financial Services: The Provider’s Perspective
• Enhancing Financial Capability

Entry requirements

Students must have passed Cefs.


The course is divided into three separate units. Units 1 and 2 are assessed via a multiple choice question paper. Unit 3 is a written examination based on a case study which is pre-released six weeks before the examination. It is possible to re-sit each exam once before the end of the year within specific time periods.
