NVQ IT User (ITQ) Level 1 - 3 (7574) Award/Certificate/Diploma at Appleby Heritage Centre

Course description

Students need to complete a variety of units from the choice of 19.  For a Level 1 Award students must obtain at least 16 credits, 30 credits for Level 2 and 50 credits for Level 3.  An essential part of this course includes weekly external work placement in a suitably approved environment.  The work placement will be for a minimum of six months.

Assessment

Each unit is assessed separately so that unit certificates can be awarded where necessary. There are NO formal examinations. Candidates complete units by gathering together a portfolio of relevant evidence.

Progression for each module is through production of a portfolio. Students who successfully achieve a Level 2 can apply to study Level 3.
