Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Accident Repair Body Competence (QCF) at Doncaster, Rotherham & District Motor Trades GTA Ltd (based at Doncaster & Sheffield)
A workbased Apprenticeship career that can lead to a level 3 qualification and onto employment as a qualified Body Repair Technician for applicants who successfully complete the course.

Applicants should expect toobtain orhave GCSEs at grade D or above, in English, Mathematics, Technologyand a Science.But more importantly they must want to pursue a career in the vehicle repair industry. Additional support is given to the selected learners who do not have the required GCSEs to ensure that they are able to progress their qualification.
All selected applicants are interviewed and given an initial assessment to check their suitability for entry onto the programme.
Assessment is by a combination ofproducing portfolio evidence of jobs completed at work. of practical task completed competently, progressive assessments, examination and observation by a qualified Assessor.

For learners on a Modern Apprenticeship programme, training costs are met by the Learning and Skills Council. Apprentices in work placements are paid a training allowance, at present the recommended minimum is 80 per week.
Career progression to a qualified VehicleBody RepairTechnician.
