Business - Cambridge Level 2 Technical Extended Certificate at Harrow College

Course description

From small, single-owner enterprises to large multinational organisations, the impact of businesses is far reaching. They provide goods and services, create jobs and growth in the economy, as well as creating new opportunities through skill development and innovation. Our Level 2 Cambridge Technical Diploma in Business encapsulate this through a wide range of units enabling learners to focus on specific areas including finance, human resources, and marketing.

Course content

Business Purposes Business Organisations Financial Forecasting for Business People in Organisations Marketing Plans Verbal and non-verbal Communications Training and Employment in Business.

A combination of classroom activities, independent study, blended/on line learning, work placement and tutorials.

Entry requirements

Progression from ESOL course and L1 Business or 4 GCSE Grade D or above including either Maths or English.


Assessment will be through coursework which includes in class assessments, work placement, report writing, case studies and presentations.
