Health and Social Care Level 2 Apprenticeship at The Vocational Learning Centre Limited
If you take the Apprenticeship pathway at Level 2, the framework will include:
- Diploma in Health and Social Care Service
- Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
- Functional Skills Numeracy
- Functional Skills Literacy
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities
To achieve a full Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care qualification you will need to gain 46 credits. 24 of these must come from the achievement of the 9 mandatory units. The remaining 22 credits must be achieved by completing the optional units. To achieve a full Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care you will need to gain 20 credits of the 9 mandatory units.
You will be assessed on and off the job by a dedicated vocational facilitator who will support and guide you through your qualification. Additionally you will undertake an onscreen multiple choice assessment to demonstrate your understanding of the sector requirements.
