Spanish at The Beaconsfield School

Course description

The course is designed to give students a profound understanding of their chosen language. Not only will they learn more about the mechanics of the language - like grammar and vocabulary - but also about how people live and use the language on a day to-day-basis.

The ability to speak a language other than your mother tongue has become a hugely important factor in today’s workplace. Students that can speak at least two languages not only earn more money on average but have a great-er cultural understanding of the world in which we live. By studying a language at A-level, students will have access to greater opportunities and be able to work and travel across the world. They will also find their enhanced com-munication skills a beneficial asset when moving on to university and beyond.
