Course content

The course includes units designed to give a strong foundation for a career in the ICT-based media industry.

The units cover researching, planning, implementing and reviewing projects.

As well as having many units which are creative and require high quality design work, you will study and research how the media industry tackles projects and events. This is not just a practical creative subject; it also has much which enables a student to consider how the media industry works and as such can form the basis of a potential career path in media.

As well as the Diploma Course (720 guided learning hours), there may also be an option to study for the smaller Subsidiary Diploma (360 guided learning hours). Students choosing this option will study 7 rather than 13 units.
