Engineering is an exciting, ever-evolving industry that opens up a huge range of career options. This Apprenticeship will give you the underpinning knowledge you need to become a trained operator in the manufacturing sector.
Optional areas include:-Machining-Electronics-Welding/ Fabrication-Technical Support
To progress onto a Level 2 Apprenticeship you will need up to five GCSEs grade D-G, including a grade D in English and Maths*.
In order to start an Apprenticeship, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.

Assessment will be via assignments and workplace observations.
Potential job roles include: Metal Working and Machine Operative, Quality Control, CNC Operator, Maintenance Operative, Process Operator.You could also progress to an Advanced Apprenticeship.
Two years, with one day per week at College.
