Fashion BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma at Archbishop Beck Catholic Sports College

Course description

It is an art based qualification and is a sound foundation for anyone wanting a career in the fashion industry. The course is designed to cover a variety of aspects within the fashion industry. Some of the assignments are based on live projects working with a variety of professionals from in and around the industry. Projects are based on the following: organising a fashion show, fashion styling and photography, designing and making clothing based on a variety of themed projects and hat making. 

Entry requirements

5 GCSE A*-C grades (or equivalent). 

Future opportunities

This course provides an introduction to the many sectors of the fashion and clothing industry, it can lead directly to university courses in fashion design, fashion buying (combined with maths A Level), styling, fashion journalism (combined with english A Level), visual merchandising or freelance designing.
