Resourcing and Service Management Advanced Apprenticeships at BT plc

Course description

This is a mainly office-based role and includes responsibility for scheduling field engineer visits to customer’s home and business premises. There is a need to make sure available engineers are able to meet the needs of work stacks by planning and deploying the necessary cover and movement of resources.

There will be a need for technical knowledge in order to help customers and field members with enquiries and online help.

There is also an occasional requirement to get on the road to investigate and check jobs out. Strong interpersonal skills are required as the role demands lots of dialogue with internal and external customers.

It’s a role that would suit someone who is methodical and has good organisational skills. Things can get busy or even quite chaotic anybody who is well organised and good at time management is likely to succeed in this apprenticeship area. It’s a good role for those who like to be part of a bigger team.
