Certificate in Retail Skills Level 2 at Independent Training College

Course description

To achieve the Level 2  Certificate in Retail Knowledge, the candidate must achieve a
minimum of 14 credits, which are achieved through completing a combination of mandatory and optional units.
These are achieved by the candidate completing  multiple choice on line tests.

Course content

Each Apprenticeship Programme offered by ITS, comprises of the following aims:
• NVQ Diploma or Certificate
• Certificate of Knowledge or Technical Competence
• Functional Skills
• Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)

Entry requirements

Employment in a retail environment for a minimum of 16 hours or more. 


The certificate will be delivered on site, through the completion of knowledge
based competency sessions and assessments.
These assessments are in a multiple choice, or assignment based and are
facilitated and invigilated by the Training Manager. The Training Manager will
prepare the learner for assignment and assessments through one to one
and/or group knowledge sessions usually delivered on site.
