Chemistry A Level at South Bromsgrove High
This area explores the fundamental principles that form the basis of chemistry, including moles, atomic structure and bonding, kinetics, energetics and chemical equilibria.
This area explores periodicity and a detailed look at Group 2 and Group 7.
This area explores the physical and chemical reactions of the alkanes, alkenes, haloalkanes and alcohols.
This area will build on your AS knowledge and also cover thermodynamics, rate equations, equilibria and acids and bases.
This module continues to study inorganic reactions particularly those of Period 3 and the colourful chemistry of the transition metals.
This area will build on your previous organic knowledge and focuses on aromatic compounds, carbonyls, amines, polymers and analytical techniques to determine the structure of organic compounds.
