Hospitality & Catering (Hospitality Services) Intermediate Apprenticeship *Fees Payable* at Martec Training

Course description

The Hospitality Services route is ideal for anyone who has a multi skilled role within the hotel and catering industry.Units covered will include a mix of all units from other hospitality and catering qualifications - please see Food and Drink Service, Housekeeping, Front Office, Food Preparation and Professional Cookery for the relevant duties.This qualification is very flexible in its structure, enabling the organisation and individual to choose the optional units which best suit their work situation and job role.Like all Vocational training, the qualification is competence based. This means that it is linked to your ability to perform a range of tasks connected with your work. You will plan a programme of development and assessment with an assessor and compile a portfolio of evidence to prove your competence and knowledge.

Entry requirements

Ideally grade C or above in GCSE English, Maths and ICT or Level One Literacy and Numeracy. A basic skills assessment will take place when you come into Martec training.

Future opportunities

Progression onto an Advanced Apprenticeship is possible after completion depending on individual ability.
