Digital Applications Diploma for IT Users - Level 1 at Hereward College
You will use a variety of software and will learn about databases, e-mail, internet and intranet, presentations, spreadsheets, word processing, e-portfolio design. You will browse websites, download music files and send e-mails. You will take digital photos, create websites and listen to CDs.
You will need a standard of literacy and numeracy required for Entry level 3 and an interest in ICT to commence Level 1.
Course work and/or exam or controlled tests
You could progress onto the GCE Applied ICT (Level 3) and further develop the knowledge and skills developed within this course up to 'A' level standard. Skills in digital applications provide a wide range of career options, as well as a route into further and higher education.
