BTEC National Subsidiary Diploma in Applied Law at St Peter's Catholic Comprehensive School
This course looks at the way the law works, how law is made and the people involved in the law. You will also study criminal law and police powers and the law of negligence. You will learn your rights when you buy goods and services and investigate employment law and your working rights and responsibilities. You will experience a variety of learning activities, such as role play, class debates and internet research, as well as visits to both the Crown Court and Magistrates Court.
The minimum entry requirement is 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above, across a range of subjects including English Language. You should also be motivated, enthusiastic and committed and be able to work independently and meet targets and deadlines.
