Course description

The course progresses through three stages: Part one focuses on 2, 3 and 4 dimensional experimental work. Part two will enable you to develop your confidence, independence and ability within an area of art and design of your choice. Part three involves a personally directed project that is externally assessed.Contextual studies, technical workshops and museum and gallery visits will give you a critical foundation to your studio work.

Entry requirements

You need ‘A’ levels or a minimum of 5 GCSE’s at C grade. Relevant experience and maturity will also be considered for students over 21.Students must be aged 18 by the 31st December on year of entry.

Financial information

Students have to provide their own materials, estimated material costs for the year is approximately £300. A contribution towards educational visits may also be requested.
