Course content

We base our courses on employment needs of the region. Therefore, you can expect to learn topics that are relevant to the industry. Your course will be made up of a mixture of core modules, that are essential to the course requirements, and units that you can choose to specialize in yourself. You'll be guided by your tutor on which units to choose that will best suit you. Key units on this course include:-Retail Travel-Business of Travel-Holiday Reps-Specialist Tourism-Visitor Attractions-Travel Centre Operations-NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Cabin Crew

Entry requirements

This is a 2 year course and will suit you if you have the enthusiasm to work with people from all walks of life and to possibly travel as part of your job. Whether you would like to go straight to work within the industry or progress to a University Level course, this course can prepare you for both. You will need 4 grade Cs or above at GCSE or equivalent preferably including Maths and English.

Yes - If it's your first full Level 3 and you're aged 19-23 your course is funded otherwise Advanced learner loans are available

Future opportunities

This course can lead to employment in a wide range of travel and tourism industries. Alternatively it can lead to related Universiy Level courses or a Higher Apprenticeship.
