Course description

Units offered in the pursuit of this qualification include Welding, Hand-Skills, Milling and Turning, Computer Aided Drafting, Computer Aided Manufacture and Electrical Installation

Entry requirements

Level 1 Diploma in Engineering and Grade D and above in GCSE Math’s and English or equivalent and 2 GCSEs at D and above of which one must be Science. Good School/College reference.

Assessment

Continuous observed assessment of practical competence and a number of theory assessments to compliment, also an on-line end test by external examination.

Exam and Registration Fees (payable by all aged 19 and over): £80

Other Costs (payable by all students): £25 Material fee contribution
