Customer Service - Apprenticeship (Intermediate) - Level 2 at College of West Anglia

Course description

This course would suit learners who are directly delivering service to customers. You could be working in a variety of jobs involving regular or constant contact to customers, including face-to-face, email and telephone. The ideal candidate should be working within an environment such as a call centre, bank, insurance company or local government office. The level 2 Diploma in Customer Service consists of5 mandatory units plus optional units that are moulded to your job role these include - Deliver customer service - Manage personal performance and development - Principles of customer service - Understand customers - Understand employer performance and development

Entry requirements

You will be interviewed and assessed for your potential, commitment and motivation to achieve the apprenticeship, based upon the range and level of activities you will be undertaking in the workplace.You may also need to undergo an initial assessment of your English and maths skills in which you are required to be working at/towards level 1 maths and level 1 English, or higher. At the start of your apprenticeship you will need to be employed by a suitable and appropriate employer for at least 30 hours a week. You will also need to have been a resident in the EU for at least 3 years, not have a level 4 or higher qualification and not be on any other government funded training programme. You will need 4 or more GCSEs at grade 3 or higher, or a relevant level 1 qualification.


The Diploma is delivered in the workplace using an online portfolio of evidence, observations, statements and questioning.
