Level 3 in Music Technology at MidKent College

Course description

This course covers all aspects of music technology, from production, studio and live sound to video games, film and radio.You will gain an understanding of the equipment, processes and technology utilised in this dynamic industry, and will also experience the art of recording sessions, mixing and the production of live gigs.This course is ideally suited for those who share a passion for sound production and possess the enthusiasm and commitment to achieve their goals.

Entry requirements

Five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English and maths at grade C/4 or above.

Future opportunities

This qualification is recognised by the music industry and, when coupled with practical experience, may lead to careers in live and recorded sound (e.g. music, TV, radio, film and theatre).
