Boost your IT skills by enrolling on this advanced course, which covers a range of subject areas including software design, animation, computer games, website production, digital graphics and much more.MidKent College is a CISCO Networking Academy Partner, which at the Medway Campus allows us to deliver a range of accredited courses including IT Essentials, Discovery 1 and Discovery 2. These will prepare you to take certifications such as CCENT and CompTIA A+, both of which are widely recognised as an indication of suitability for employment or higher education.At the Maidstone Campus we have developed a course that emphasises both technical skills (supported by our new practical lab) and creative skills based on graphical, web and programming units.

Entry requirements

Five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English and maths at grade C/4 or above.

Future opportunities

The level 3 Diploma prepares you for employment in IT, administration or commerce, as well as progression to higher education such as the Foundation Degree/HND in Computing and IT.

    • Set in the Oakwood Park complex, MidKent College's Maidstone Campus provides a pleasant learning environment for students. The site houses a range of quality workshops – including those for Bricklaying, Carpentry, Motor Vehicle and Welding – as well as a large learning resource centre, refectory and welcoming social zone.

      In 2012 major redevelopment work costing a total of £25 million started at the Maidstone Campus, with new state-of-the-art facilities expected to be open by December 2013.

      As part of the rebuild MidKent College has purchased the University for the Creative Arts' Maidstone campus, which is also based at Oakwood Park and now houses the majority of the College's higher education courses.
