Motor Vehicle Servicing & Repair Diploma Level 3 at Canterbury College
The Level 3 Diploma is the standard level 3 qualification offered by the Institute of the Motor Industry.
The course is designed for those who want to work in Main Dealerships as Technicians and those who want to be Master Technicians.
This Qualification meets the technical requirements for the modern apprenticeship framework at level 3, so those who choose to go onto an apprenticeship, only need to complete practical aspects at work. This cuts down the amount of time required to complete an apprenticeship.
You need to have a Level 2 Diploma to join this course and the drive and determination to succeed.
You will learn how to analyse and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults, inspection and service of vehicle systems and how to fix those faults. You will build on your knowledge and experience gained in the first year.
4 Cs or 4s including English and maths or a relevant full level 2.
There are 4 online exams and 15 practical assessments
Upon successful completion, you may progress to an advanced apprenticeship
Please note that for applications for the 19/20 academic year the EKC Group is using a new online system and you will be required to register and track your application using this system.
