Diploma in Skills for Art and Design (QCF) at Canterbury College
This qualification will provide opportunities for learners who are intrigued and motivated by art and design to explore, develop and test their creativity within a structure that will provide a sound base of skills and knowledge, while enhancing self confidence and revealing the potential career demands and opportunities within the sector.
This course endeavours to provide learners with an introduction to art, design and media, encouraging engagement with the educational process and the acquisition of the requisite knowledge, skills and understanding to progress to further education or employment within the creative industry.
4 GCSEs grade E-G (2 or 1) including - Functional Skills English and maths Entry 3 or GCSE Grade 1 or 2
Assessment is portfolio based and takes place throughout the year.
You can progress to Art & Design Diploma Level 2.
