Level 2 Diploma in Music Practice at Canterbury College
This course will develop skills in music theory, composing, music business and music technology, and increase your understanding of job opportunities in the music industry. You will study maths and English as part of your course.
You will learn about live music performance, composing, music theory, sequencing, the music business and music theory. As part of the course you will be expected to complete work experience, self-study and take part in college community events.
4 Ds or 3s including English and Maths or a relevant full Level 1.
You will be assessed through a combination of written assignments, tests, practical work and group projects.
Students can progress onto a Level 3 Music course. In order to do this, you will need to achieve a Merit at Level 2 and pass the additional functional skills or GCSE qualifications.
