Performing Arts: Acting Level 3 at Rotherham College

Course description

The University of Arts London (UAL) Level 3 Performing Arts course is suitable for people who want to progress develop and succeed in Performing Arts, but also to gain employment and a more detailed understanding of acting, singing, dancing and technical theatre, through academic and practical exploration.

 

During the course, you will study both practical and theoretical principles of acting, such as improvisation and historical context of theatre, while working towards a public performance. You will work with tutors and peers to develop your skills. This course is one to two years long.

 

 

This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to access and progress to degree level study, or employment in the performing arts. It provides an opportunity for those who have an interest in the performing arts to explore, develop and test their creativity within a qualification structure which is stimulating and demanding, providing a supportive transition from general to more specialized study.
