Course description

This course contains a mix of mechanical and electrical units. This will give you the skills and basic understanding of working in an engineering environment and open several options at the end of the course.

This course has a good progression route to Level 2 PEO engineering, welding or electrical installation to get you ready for apprenticeships and employment.

  • GCSEs at grade two/grade E in maths and English

    • September 2014 sees the grand unveiling of a new £45 million Thurrock Campus in Grays which will include restaurants, health facilities, shops and an advice centre. There will also be specialist workshop and studio spaces linked to courses for technology, media and creative arts, and facilities for art, design, logistics, engineering and IT courses.
