Course description

If you wish to start a new career in construction and have little or no experience, the Entry Level 3 Award in Multi-craft Construction Activities qualification has been designed to develop your skills, knowledge and understanding so you can work in the construction industry or progress to further training.

Course content

You will cover knowledge in three core subject areas, health, safety and welfare, information, quantities and communication and construction technology. The learner will also learn key practical skills and knowledge in preparing to carry out multi-craft construction activities, trying out multi-craft construction skills and thinking about next steps in construction trades.

Entry requirements

Entry is subject to interview, an assignment and taking part in a taster day.

Assessment

Assessment requirements set for this qualification will be through completion of a learner workbook and by practical assessment.

Future opportunities

Progression/enrolment onto a Level 1 qualification.
