Early Years and Primary Settings level 2 at Broadstairs College

Course description

You’ll learn all the necessary skills to progress on to our Level 3 programme. You will cover a variety of aspects relating to the Early Years curriculum, child development and the importance of play in learning. Alongside this you will undertake a ready-to-work unit to add to your employability skills.You can look forward to work placements one full day a week in our on-site nursery or with another local childcare provider allocated by the work placement officer.

Course content

Entry requirements

4 Ds or 3s including English and maths or a relevant full level 1.

Assessment

You will learn through practical and theoretical lessons and build a portfolio of work.

Future opportunities

On successful completion you could progress on to our Level 3 programme.
