ESOL at CTS Training

Course description

A Study Programme is available for 16-18 year olds that need help to develop their English and Maths in order to support progression into work, further learning or an apprenticeship. Learners will work towards City and guilds ESOL Skills for life Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing qualifications (Entry Level 1 – 3) as well as functional Maths.

Each level will take approximately 8-10 weeks to complete and learners will have the opportunity to complete all 3 components of English or complete them seperately to meet their individual needs, as well as the option to progress through the levels and continue on to Functional skills where appropriate.

ESOL learners will also have the opportunity to access all other areas of the study programme, which include;

• Work Placement

• Progress to Functional Skills in Maths, English & ICT up to Level 2

• Tutorial and Pastoral Support

• Jobsearch and Employability Skills

• Personal and Social Development

 

Study Programme is available to anyone aged 16 – 18. English must be your second language.

Assessment

Experienced ESOL tutors will carry out an assessment to help plan your learning.

With a CTS Study Programme you also get :
