Electrical Installation Diploma Level 3 (Buildings & Structures) at Leeds City College

Course description

The qualification covers many areas within electro technical technology such as principles of electrical science, electrical installation technology and health and safety within Building Services Engineering.

Candidates will be assessed by on-demand multiple choice tests (available through the City & Guilds assessment platform e-volve) and practical assignments.

Course content

• You will study health and safety elements with a strong addition of environmental systems, science and electrical principles, installation and design, testing, fault finding and career progression studies.

• The unit numbers are 301, 612, 613, 623, 614, 624, 615, 625 and 308

Entry requirements

Minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or higher, to include maths and English. Alternatively you may have Functional Skills level 2 in maths and English, or a relevant level 2 vocational qualification along with GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or higher in maths and English.

You will be assessed by open book assessments, online exams, written paper and practical assessments
