Course description

An apprenticeship in Accounting is ideal for those who would like to pursue a career in accounting. This qualification can also lead onto a range of diverse careers that could include positions in business, banking or finance. This apprenticeship provides a valuable mix of theoretical learning and practical training within many industries. This course will teach the apprentice about different accounting principles and essential accounting processes which allows them to gain an entry-level role in accounting. This apprenticeship will prepare the apprentice to work effectively in a wide range of roles including accounts payable clerk, accounts administrator, finance assistant, accounts clerk, assistant accountant to name but a few. If you are considering further study the AAT Accounting Qualification gives you generous exemptions to study with CIPFA, ICAEW, CIMA, ICAS and ACCA.

Entry requirements

Relevant qualifications and/or an initial assessment and diagnostic testing on maths and English will take place prior to commencement. Specific entry requirements may be applicable based on employer requirements.
