Course description

If you like working in a team, in a busy and thriving environment, a role in warehousing could be for you. There are a range of workplaces to choose from including retail stores, manufacturing plant or a distribution depot. Roles may include tracking deliveries, storing goods and packing and loading orders. Progression opportunities may exist in team leading or supervision roles. The supply chain and logistics is a growing sector that plays a major role in the UK and global economy. This apprenticeship has been developed to meet industry standards, to ensure we equip you with the skills needed for the work place and logistics operations. Mandatory units of this apprenticeship include processing orders for customers in logistics operations and using equipment to move goods in logistic operations.

Entry requirements

Relevant qualifications and/or an initial assessment and diagnostic testing on maths and English will take place prior to commencement. Specific entry requirements may be applicable based on employer requirements.
