Welcome to Magdalen College School

Magdalen College School, situated on the border of Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire, is a voluntary controlled co-educational comprehensive school serving the 11-19 age range.  Through voluntary status, its ancient links with Magdalen College, Oxford are preserved.  The oldest buildings that are to be found at the St John`s site date from mediaeval times.  In 1973, Magdalen College School, now on two sites, was established by Northamptonshire and Magdalen College, Oxford working closely to merge the town`s existing secondary and grammar schools.

We are a co-educational, comprehensive secondary school and sixth form centre located in the community of Brackley, Northamptonshire. In September 2004, Magdalen College School achieved specialist status in Maths and Computing.  We aim to use our specialisms to promote and enrich teaching and learning on a school wide basis.
