Welcome to All Saints Catholic High School

Welcome to All Saints Sixth Form.  We are an 11-18 comprehensive school and there are around 380 students in the Sixth Form.  We offer you the chance to study in a caring, successful and exciting environment that will help you to achieve your aspirations.

At All Saints we have a passion for learning, life and a love of Christ which we believe is the foundation of a high quality, caring educational environment.  All areas of the curriculum provide opportunities for students to develop independence, to grow as leaders and to take ownership of their learning.  High self esteem and respect for self is underpinned by an understanding and tolerance of others beliefs and cultures.

We hope that you will find all of the information that you need on the applysheffield website, our own school website and in the school prospectus. Our Post 16 Open Morning will be held on Saturday 10 November 2018 but we can also offer individual tours of the school after the Open Morning, so please get in touch.

Facilities available

The Sixth Form students have their own area within our school community which contains the sixth form common room, IT equipment, a quiet study area and food servery.

We understand the importance of sport and physical health for all students and the school has one of the largest sporting complexes in the North of England.  The facilities include a double sports hall, an international hall, a sports science laboratory, a sensory activity room, a teaching laboratory and 10 external floodlit courts.

Education is not just about learning in school. In the Sixth Form, students have access to a wide variety of enrichment activities and the programme in Y12 enables students to participate in a range of activities from Duke of Edinburgh and Sport to Voluntary work and Driving Theory. A Sixth Form Chaplaincy team encourages wider involvement in the school, charity fundraising and community life. The curriculum is directly supported through UK field trips and residentials in Geography, History, Business and Biology and foreign experience, for modern language students.

Music and Drama are also an important part of the community life at All Saints and the annual musical and music evenings are superb events enjoyed by the local community and beyond.

Additional support

At All Saints, we pride ourselves in providing a caring and supportive envrionment for our students.  A dedicated team of tutors provide academic and pastoral support for students in the Sixth Form and each student has their own personal tutor.  The tutorial system guides students through the areas of study skills, careers, higher education and employment and there is a mentoring programme in place for individual support.
