City Training Services(CTS) has a 32 year track record of delivering Apprenticeships across the region.We currently have 2000 young people undertaking an Apprenticeship with us, each person is employed from day 1, earning at least £2.73 per hour. Apprenticeships for ages 16-18 are fully funded, for 19+ there is an employer contribution

About us

City Training Services(CTS) head office is based in Chapel Street, Little Germany, the heritage quarter of Bradford City centre. The company employ 60 staff who support over 1000 young people on Apprenticeship programmes.There are currently over 500 companies who work with CTS offering a wide choice of different occupations ranging from Engineering to Childcare, companies range from small enterprises to big public sector bodies including the NHS and local authorities.

Every year we are approached by organisations looking to recruit young people into an Apprenticeship, some companies are recruiting for the first time while others have a long history of running Apprenticeships. We only work with companies who employ Apprentices on a full time permanent basis, who earn at least £2.73 per hour.

The majority of Apprenticeships involve day release to a training centre with assessments taking place both on and off the job, the outcomes of the Apprenticeship are formal qualifications such as NVQs and level 2 and/or level 3 knowledge based certificates from awarding bodies such as City and Guilds.

Our support staff will help secure a job where possible although a number of young people come to us having found an employer willing to recruit them as an Apprentice.All the arrangements for young people embarking on an Apprenticeship are made by CTS, from initial interviews to College enrolment through to final certification.

Facilities available

CTS own a five storey building in the heart of Little Germany with state of the art training facilities including smart board technology.

Additional support

Each learner has a dedicated training co-ordinator who acts as the link person between off and on the job training. CTS have a dedicated learner support team who are available to support your additional needs
