Welcome to University Academy Keighley
Welcome to The Associated Sixth Form
We are a thriving, exciting and highly praised association that combines the sixth forms of The Holy Family Catholic School and University Academy Keighley. We serve students from Keighley and the surrounding villages who are attracted by our reputation and comprehensive curriculum.
As a student of the The Associated Sixth Form you will be expected to realise your full potential. We share the goal of exam success but additionally we aim to instil confidence, independence and personal expression to help you cope with life.
Our Sixth Form is a place of opportunity and choice. You will have plenty of chances the skills that are valued by employers, trainers and universities – teamwork, communication, problem solving and time management.
Facilities will be exceptional with Holy Family’s new building and The University Academy’s brand new school which will be operational from March 2011.

University Academy Keighley succeeds because of the carefully constructed education provided, within an atmosphere which is purposeful, positive, happy and supportive. Results have risen significantly and rapidly in recent years – and you can be part of that success! We offer a wide range of opportunities and experiences - a stimulating variety of curricular and extra-curricular activities, and are looking forward to the opening of brand new purpose-built premises in 2010. Our recent successes show that we can achieve, but our aspirations are higher and we aim to build upon current achievement to provide the broad and balanced educational and social experiences needed to prepare students for the society and work of the future. Our Mathematics & Computing specialist status, on-site CLC and running track facilities enable us to provide a range of unique opportunities to learners. Our participation in the Associated Sixth Form means that we are able to offer a wider range of post-16 courses, including some ‘minority’ subjects, taught by qualified and experienced staff. Opportunities to follow BTEC, iPro and Adult Literacy and Numeracy courses are offered alongside AS and A2 Level courses. Each student is under the care of a tutor, who looks at his or her pastoral and academic progress on a daily basis and works with a Year Achievement Leader to ensure that our motto “Learning For Life, Achievement For All” is realised for each individual.
