The Sixth Form at Hilbre is now the largest it has ever been. We offer a wide range of AS- and A-Level courses and an increasing range of BTEC courses.
This on-line brochure will provide you with an idea of what life will be like in the Sixth Form at Hilbre High School and what courses would be appropriate for you to study. However, if you have any further questions, the key personnel for information are:

~ Sixth Form students have their own common room. This is available for private study during lesson time and for socialising during breaks and lunchtimes.
~ Students have access to computer facilities in the common room.
~ Sixth Form students can also use the cyber area of WestWirralWorks City Learning Centre, which is part of the Hilbre High School campus.
~ Every student is allocated to a Sixth Form tutor group. The form tutor is often the first point of contact for students.

~ Students also have access to the full range of other support within school, including careers and higher education guidance from the school`s Connexions advisor.
~ One of our students joined Hilbre for the first time at the start of Year 12. She settled in really quickly, making lots of friends and, with support, enjoyed life at Hilbre. She gained good grades in Sociology, Media and English and is now at Leeds Metropolitan University.
~ Another student left Hilbre last year after seven successful years of study. She gained a place at the prestigious Central School of Speech & Drama after achieving two A grades and one B grade at A-Level. She is now studying Community Drama.
