Rocket Training has a long history of working with young people and we take pride in the fact that we have helped many young people progress into employment over many years. Young people tell us that they like being at Rocket because it’s not like school and we try to support and develop everyone that joins one of our courses.
You may start on a Study programme which will develop your skills and confidence to progress to other options like Apprenticeships. You can follow a Study programme for anything from 6 weeks to 12 months depending on what you want to do next.
Rocket has a Business Development team who are responsible for finding work experience opportunities and Apprenticeship vacancies for all our young people. This team will work with you to prepare you for work and guide you into work opportunities. Our team of tutors will develop your skills and confidence so that you are prepared for work experience and employment.
Both Rocket Centres in Liverpool and the Wirral have rest facilities for all learners. A small canteen is equipped with drinks and snack machines and an area to eat food.
When you join Rocket you will have an initial assessment and an individual learning plan will be developed for you by your Personal Tutor. Your Personal Tutor will support you throughout your programme and help you with any problems or issues that you may have. Your plan will be reviewed on a monthly basis by your Personal Tutor. Your Personal Tutor will work with you and other tutors to make sure that you achieve your plan. Extra support is available from a Support Worker if you experience difficulties with the programme or in general.
Rocket Training has much to celebrate and many young people have gone onto succeed in employment and further learning. The examples below are some of our recent successes:
