Welcome to Stroud High School

Stroud High School is an outstanding school and the sixth form is an important integral part of our community – all students who join us in Year 12 become part of that Stroud High School family.

About us

We work in partnership with Marling School to offer students a range of academic courses, enriching activities and a positive co-educational environment in which to flourish. The sixth form is based in a purpose-built centre shared with Marling School, though while we share resources, we do retain our own identity as Stroud High School.

Our commitment is to provide outstanding provision for our students, as identified by Ofsted, who acknowledge the excellent steps taken to ensure success for our students.

We value the whole student and offer a sixth form experience combining qualifications with enrichment and opportunities. We put our girls at the heart of what we do, with special attention given to achieving personal best.

We do hope that you are able to visit our school as see why we are a popular choice for the sixth form

Facilities available

The Sixth Form Centre at Stroud High School is shared with Marling School Sixth Form and has been designed to support the independent learning of our students. The Sixth Form Centre is the community hub for our sixth formers and includes the offices of the sixth form team who are on hand to support students. It provides sixth form students with a dedicated and unique environment in which to work and socialise. The building includes classrooms, two supervised study rooms with ICT facilities, lockers, café area, outside terrace and lawns and 160-seater lecture theatre.
