As one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the UK, with unique colleges across two counties, we aim to deliver learning experiences which lead to the development of wider skill bases and improved destinations for all of our students.

Our recent Ofsted inspection highlights our success and strong focus both on students and on meeting industry needs. We are also one of only five colleges in the UK to be granted Foundation Degree Awarding Powers by the Privy Council – meaning our higher education quality and standards are equal to any university.

Warwickshire College Group has over 15,500 students making it one of the largest and most successful colleges of further and higher education in the country. There’s an extensive choice of study opportunities with more than 1,000 courses across 20 different subject areas. The courses are run from the six colleges that form the group in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick Trident, Rugby, Moreton Morrell, Henley-in-Arden and Pershore in Worcestershire.

Our Colleges
We have six main colleges located in beautiful scenery across Warwickshire and Worcestershire. As well as full-time and higher education courses our colleges offer a fantastic range of services and facilities.

Royal Leamington Spa College, Warwick New Road, Royal Leamington Spa, CV32 5JE 

Situated in the historic town of Leamington Spa, our vibrant Royal Leamington Spa College offers the majority of our courses, including A-levels and the International Baccalaureate, and a full range of creative, business, health, care, hair & beauty, construction, travel & tourism and supported learning programmes. The college boasts a fabulous range of facilities, including a new, purpose-built £5.8 million art block, a University-style lecture theatre, Learning Resource Centre, sports hall and fully-equipped gym.

Rugby College, Technology Drive, Rugby, CV21 1AR 
The £33-million Rugby College opened in 2010 with specialist facilities for  engineering, construction, hair and beauty and catering. Rugby College offers fantastic facilities in all main curriculum areas. 

Moreton Morrell College, Moreton Morrell, Warwick, CV35 9BL 
Set amidst acres of stunning countryside, next to the village of Moreton Morrell, our Moreton Morrell College is home to a lot of our land-based courses. There is also a commercial farm with a dairy herd & dairy unit and also a forge, farm improvements area, animal welfare centre, horticultural facilities and Learning Resource Centre. The Construction faculty now offers two classrooms and open workshop areas for brickwork, carpentry and multi-skilling. Extensive residential accommodation and a lively social scene ensure that students benefit from a ‘home away from home’ sense of community.

Pershore College Avonbank, Pershore, Worcester, WR10 3JP
Warwickshire College Group includes Pershore College in Worcestershire. This means we are able to offer even more choice to students and employers. Situated in a 60 hectare site in Worcestershire, Pershore College offers courses in Animal Management, Floristry, Forestry, Food & Drink, Garden Design, Horticulture, Landscaping, Motor Vehicle and Veterinary Nursing.

Warwick Trident College, Poseidon Way,  Warwick CV34 6SW 
Based in the historic town of Warwick, our Warwick Trident College is a leading-edge, skills based training facility, with close ties to local industry, offering an unrivalled range of business & professional, motorsport and engineering courses. The college provides a professional training environment that focuses on engineering technology and management. Facilities include an advanced machining centre, robotic facilities, vehicle engineering workshops, laboratories, design suites and a Learning Resource Centre.

Facilities available

Each of our six colleges features an impressive range of facilities.We have state-of-the art learning resource centres, lecture theatres, high-street quality hairdressing salons, halls of residence, childcare nurseries, fully equipped gyms & sports facilities and college shops.

Each college is situated in or near a busy town, so you’ll never be far from great shopping or a lively nightlife.

Each of the six colleges has a Learning Resource Centre which includes:

• Internet access on all computers
• CD-ROMS and Videos
• A wide range of textbooks
• Email, Microsoft Office software
• Printing and photocopying facilities
• Study areas

Sporting activities include rugby, football, hockey and lots more with the opportunity to compete in inter-college competitions.

Warwick Trident College facilties

  • Vehicle diagnostic equipment including 4-wheel alignment systems, brake and suspension testers, management systems analysers and 450hp chassis dynamometers
  • Training vehicles include a Range Rover and the Jaguar S Series

Student Services are at the heart of our support system. Our friendly team can offer personal help or refer you to other experts to support you with:

• Help to find the right course
• Careers information and advice about applying for jobs
• Support and guidance with higher education and UCAS applications
• Information about the wide range of enrichment activities
• Counselling and confidential support with personal issues from trained specialists
• Advice and, in some cases, practical support if lack of money is a barrier to starting your programme of study.

Literacy and Numeracy Requirements
We are very committed to supporting you to achieve your chosen qualifications and progress on to further learning and/or employment. For that reason, in addition to entry requirements such as GCSEs, we will work with you to identify your literacy and numeracy levels, to ensure you are on the right programme for you.


Learning Support Services are available for any of our students who need extra support with their study. Individual sessions or drop in workshops are available to develop study skills. Personal support is also available for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.


When you begin your course you will be allocated a Personal Learning Adviser who will support you through your programme of study. You will have individual and group tutorial time with your Personal Learning Advisor to discuss progress and raise any areas of concern. Sessions will also be used to explore career ideas and to signpost you to the best sources of advice and guidance.

Our students have achieved prestigious awards on a national and international level.

Our engineering apprentice with Jaguar Land Rover at Warwick Trident College, Alex Tomlinson has been crowned Britain's top apprentice and best in engineering at the Semta Skills Awards 2015.

Pershore College students and staff are celebrating after the college was awarded a Gold Medal and Best in Show at the prestigious RHS Malvern Spring Festival for a trade stand and show garden. HRH The Princess Royal also visited the garden to give it the royal seal of approval.

Enterprising Rugby College students Alice Stewardson and Harry Brown, have beaten thousands of entries to make it to the top 20 of the national iDEA competition with their Collision Alert concept..

Zoe Rowlinson, 19, from Warwickshire College Group has been named the ‘Best in the UK’ in floristry after winning Gold at the WorldSkills UK National Competitions at The Skills Show 2013.She has snce represented the UK at an international skills competition in Europe.
