Welcome to PM Training


At PM Training we provide new work opportunities to 16+  year olds in Staffordshire through access to apprenticeships both direct and pre-apprenticeship routes, study programmes, vocational training and industry work experience with leading businessess... we provide you with the skills and experience needed to progress into real jobs.

With training centres located near Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme, we provide a selection of courses and routes ranging from construction, engineering, plumbing, joinery and horticulture through to digital media, I.T., business administration, accountancy, marketing and customer service.

Our dedicated, friendly and qualified staff ensure your jourey with us is as enjoyable and rewarding as possible through a safe environment filled with encouragement and support.

PM Training is a leading social enterprise operating in the private and public sectors. We aim to deliver excellent training and employment services but we are not just a training provider – our vision is to create enterprising futures for all the people, companies and communities we work with.

We have training centres across Staffordshire, in Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme.

PM Training is part of Enterprising Futures, the social enterprise arm of the Aspire Group. Because we are a social enterprise our services concentrate on maximising our social, economic and environmental impact. Our operating surpluses are re-invested through the Group charity, the Realise Foundation, to provide more training and employment opportunities for local people and to regenerate local neighbourhoods.

Our well-equipped training facilities have a 100+ strong team of qualified assessors/ verifiers, team leaders and trainers who are experts in service delivery.

We work with companies to increase their productivity and staff retention both by providing direct training and by supplying high calibre trainees and apprentices.

We support individuals to increase their knowledge and skills and successfully support the majority to find full time employment or further training in a wide variety of careers.

We help communities by improving individual homes, neighbourhoods and estates through our direct Homeworks services. These annually benefit over 4,000 people living in North Staffordshire.

Our aim is to continuously improve our service to learners, employers and communities.

Facilities available

PM Training offers great facilities that allow students to develop their skills in an enriched environment. With dedicated workshops and work space, our facilities provide the resources you need to progress into real jobs.
 

  • Business Admin/Customer Service Centre providing access to a computer lounge with high-speed internet and software to develop the skills needed for today's modern workplace.
     
  •  3 training centres across Staffordshire.
     
  • Canteen offering a wide selection of free breakfast options, free tea/coffee and free wifi create an environment to socialise in.
     
  • Educational area Workshops
     
  • Engineering, Joinery, Plumbing, Brickwork, Painting and Decroating, Flooring Workshops with access to industry standard tools and experience from our dedicated staff.

Additional support

Maths and English

Alongside your chosen course we aim to fulfil your potential in Maths and English and will work with you on a programme of development progressing towards Level 2 Functional Skills Maths and English qualifications.

With most apprenticeships requiring a minimum of Level 1 Functional Skills in Maths and English, our learner support helps you progress the skills needed to achieve your goals.

PM Training prides itself providing the right skills, experience and opportunities to develop 95% of our learners into full-time employment, apprenticeships with leading local companies, or further education.
