From our functional skills qualifications in English 75% of students passed, Maths 76% pass rate and in ICT we had 66% pass rate.
We have had some of our young students on work placement progress on to business such as England athletics Ltd, Quick fit, Fix Auto Birmingham North.
Learners also progress internally onto Apprenticeships, with one student, Callum Vann- Fowler, impressing the employers so much during his work placement at Auto Fix Birmingham North that they offered him the chance to do his IMI level 2 Motor Vehicle qualifications with them.
The employer stated “Callum has finished his work placement now and he has been a credit to your organisation. He is polite, punctual and eager to learn. He is hands on and listens to his mentors. I am not sure what you have in line for him but once he has completed his programme with you maybe we can talk about taking him on as an apprentice.”
