Learning Performance Tutors and Pastoral Support
To help students to achieve the best results possible, subject teachers and Learning Performance Tutors work with students to help them to think about their goals, set targets to enable them to reach those goals and monitor progress. Learning Performance Tutors support students through the UCAS process and towards future progression, including university, apprenticeships and employment.
Personal Tutors and Learning Performance Tutors are students’ first point of contact for support and guidance enquiries with specialist referrals made to Counselling Services, Student Services and Careers Advice.
The Government provides funding to support students experiencing financial hardship whilst studying at college. Funds available include the 16-19 Bursary Fund, the Over 19 Discretionary Fund and Free Meals with application packs available from Student Services. All are administered by the College. These funds are prioritised for students in financial hardship.
