As a student at Rotherham College, you won’t just be taught in a classroom. You will train within specialist facilities at either our Town Centre Campus or at our Dinnington Campus that reflect real working environments, with access to the latest equipment and resources and expert teaching from our lecturers and instructors, who bring with them a wealth of industry experience and specialist knowledge.
We combine our excellent teaching with industry placements, employability support, participation in national competitions, visits to places of interest and regular guest speaker events with industry specialists, to ensure you are fully prepared for the exciting world of work.
With all this support, our students achieve fantastic outcomes, progressing into their chosen career, braving a move into self-employment or continuing onto higher levels of study and beyond, whether that is with us at our brand new University Centre Rotherham or further afield.

Rotherham College has campuses in Rotherham town centre and Dinnington, offering courses, degrees and apprenticeships in a wide variety of areas.
Rotherham College’s Town Centre Campus is the centre of a wide range of subjects including Accounting and Business, Engineering, Fashion, Media, Performance, Photography and many more; all of which are delivered by specialist tutors in state-of-the-art facilities. We also offers a wide range of construction courses delivered at our Construction Centre, such as Bricklaying, Joinery and Plumbing.
Rotherham College’s Dinnington Campus is a specialist centre for Animal Care. It is home to a working farm that will give you hands on experience of working with 200 animals and 60 species, including exotic, domestic and farm animals.

Additional Learning Support (ALS)
Our Additional Learning Support team are dedicated to supporting students who require tailored support plans to help make the most of their chosen learning opportunity.
We support students who have:
• Attention disorders
• Autism spectrum conditions
• Mental health difficulties
• Medical conditions
• Physical/sensory requirements
Our aim is to ensure we do everything we can to help you to make the most of your time at College and achieve in your studies.
We can help with adjustments to teaching, special arrangements to exams and assessments, one-to-one support, workshops, small group support and assistive technology - whichever suits you best.

Our students leave Rotherham College fully equipped for the exciting world of work or higher-level study.
Many of our students choose to continue their studies into Higher Education (HE) with us. We offer a wide range of degrees and higher-level qualifications delivered at both our College campuses and within the new University Centre Rotherham (UCR) located just a few minutes’ walk away from our Town Centre campus.
The benefits of choosing to stay with us when progressing into Higher Education are that you will have access to state-of-the art facilities, be taught in smaller class sizes with more one-to-one tutorial time, pay lower tuition fees than other universities and utilise our fantastic industry links with local employers to give you a head start in the working world.
