Welcome to Oxfordshire County Council

Oxfordshire County Council is responsible for 80% of the local government services in the county. This includes children’s services, some education services, fire and rescue, libraries and museums, roads, social care, trading standards and waste disposal.

For 2015/16 the council has set an overall budget of £831.4 million.  We need to spend £574.6 million during 2015/16 on the provision of services.

Oxfordshire County Council is controlled by the Conservative Independent Alliance Group and its decision-making body is called the Cabinet.
