About us

Our Ofsted inspection of February 2014 rated us as 'Good with Outstanding features' and with £90million recently invested in new facilities, it's easy to see why North Kent College remains at the forefront in its comprehensive provision of further and higher education for students over the age of 16. 

The College runs a wide variety of academic and vocational courses for over 3,700 full-time students from two main campuses in Dartford and Gravesend.
 
We are committed to helping students achieve their ambitions and our courses will prepare you for the real world with hands-on practical experience, which will be a huge benefit in making the step into employment or onto University.
 

Facilities available

Real working theatre - Miskin Theatre for those with ambitions to tread the boards, embark on dance careers or enter into backstage production in sound or lighting.

The Gallery Restaurant - hospitality and catering qualifications taught within an open-to-the-public restaurant at our Gravesend campus

Inspirations Salons - hair and beauty salons with paying customers at both campuses 

The Osterberg Sports Centre - brand new sports hall and gym for sports enthusiasts. For those wishing to enter the profession of football, there's also our Football Academy in association with Gillingham FC.  

Miskin Music - recording studios, and Miskin Venue for live performing arts, plus our own radio station Miskin Radio. 

Computer gaming - plug into this massive growth industry using our state-of-art gaming technology

Motor vehicle workshop - get hands-on in our workshop and diagnostics facility at Gravesend

Maritime apprenticeship training using our swimming pool and sea survival equipment
