If you need financial support and meet the relevant criteria, we may be able to help with the costs of travel, course levies, equipment and books.
Help with Travel
If you are under 19 and live over three miles away from the College, you should apply to your Local Education Authority in the first instance for help with the cost of travel.
Moving on to University or Work?
We can help you prepare your UCAS application and Personal Statement or CV. You can speak one-to-one with a Guidance Adviser and look at all your options in the SIC.
Additional Learning Support (ALS)
The Additional Learning Support Team at Canterbury College provides support which encourages independence and opportunities for self-motivation.
Every effort will be made by the College to meet your needs and proactively support your well-being.
Learning Resources Centre
You will benefit from the rich variety of learning resources we have available and can borrow books, magazines, CDs and DVDs and get help from the staff with finding information for your course. There’s lots of space for quiet study and group work. You can work on your assignments on the PCs in the LRC Computer Centre or access Wi-Fi from your own laptop.
